Natalie Portman reveals how Rihanna helped her as she confirms divorce from Benjamin Millepied

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Natalie Portman recently opened up about her special connection with 'Diamonds' singer Rihanna during an appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.'

She revealed for the first time how kind words from Rihanna helped her through her recent divorce from Benjamin Millepied.

To provide context, Portman and Millepied got married on August 4, 2012, at a private residence in Big Sur, California.

Unfortunately, their 11-year-long marriage has reportedly ended following allegations that Millepied cheated on her.

During an appearance on the Monday, July 15 episode of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,' Natalie Portman, 43, shared her memorable meeting with Rihanna, which quickly went viral across social media. 

Rihanna called Portman "one of the hottest b***hes in Hollywood" during their encounter. 

Speaking to Fallon, the 'May December' star insisted, "I think every woman going through a divorce should get to have Rihanna say to her that she's a bad b***h."

Fallon responded with enthusiastic applause before showing a clip of the fashion week interaction. "It was exactly what I needed," Portman added. 

"That's a big deal," Fallon commented, to which the 'Black Swan' star replied, "It was a formative moment in my life."

In a video shared earlier this year, taken outside the Dior Haute Couture show in Paris, Portman told Rihanna, "I love you," to which the singer responded, "I am a f***ing fan." 

Portman exclaimed, "I’m gonna faint. I’m gonna black out,” as the two continued to praise each other. The Oscar winner added, “I love you and I listen to your music all the time… you’re just such a queen. Thank you.” 

Portman also shared a photo on Instagram of the pair hugging at the time, captioning it, "Still not over this… 🥹 @badgalriri."
