Natalie Portman dedicates her 43rd birthday post to close pals who 'lift' her 'again and again' amid recent divorce
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Natalie Portman gave a shoutout to her friends for lifting her up every time as she celebrated her 43rd birthday.
The ‘Black Swan’ star took to her Instagram, and shared the snaps with her close pals, amid her recent divorce with Benjamin Millepied.

The Oscar-winning actress captioned her post on Sunday, June 9, “This year, on my birthday, I want to celebrate my gratitude for my friends who lift me up again and again.”
Most of the snaps shared were taken recently, which showed the actress with her friends at different locations, including the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, and the Dior Fall-Winter 2023-2024 show in Paris.
Portman filed for divorce secretly in July 2023, after many outlets reported Millepied’s extra-marital affair.
In March, a source told People that the former couple focused on creating a "smooth transition" for their children Aleph and Amalia.

"She and Ben really love their kids and are equally focused on being the best co-parents they can be. Nothing is more important," a common friend said.
The insider also revealed that her family and close friends stood behind her during this difficult phase.
"It was initially really tough for her, but her friends rallied around her and helped get her through the worst of it," they said. "Natalie is coming out of a really tough and painful year but she's come out the other side of it stronger and is finding joy in her family, friends and work."

Portman, who now lives in Paris, talked about the European city and Los Angeles, with Vanity Fair, "I love having both in my life."
"I lead a very non-Hollywood life in LA. I live on the east side. I have some friends who are in the entertainment industry, but many friends who are not, and we don’t do industry things when we hang out. We’re not going to Hollywood parties, we’re having dinners at home in the backyard."
Portman and Millepied met on the set of 'Black Swan' 2009 and got hitched in 2012.
