DETROIT, MICHIGAN: As he questioned how Donald Trump's former Atlantic City casino could fail, President Joe Biden criticized the former president's financial ability during a rally on Friday, July 12 in Detroit, according to Mediaite.

Although Biden did not mention the casino, he criticized Trump's financial acumen and brought up his several bankruptcies in a forceful address that also stated he would not be withdrawing from the 2024 presidential contest.

Joe Biden roasts Donald Trump for bankruptcy

Biden said, "Look, if you want to know how bad a businessman Trump really is, just think about this. He inherited millions of dollars only to squander it. He’s filed for bankruptcy six times."

Biden addressed a loud crowd, seemingly referring to the now-closed Trump Taj Mahal Casino and Resort, "He even went bankrupt running a casino – I didn’t think that was even possible. Doesn’t the house always win in a casino?"

He concluded, "Most importantly, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart, Trump is a threat to this nation."

Notably, without Democratic Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and many state congressional Democrats, Biden addressed an audience of union members and other voters in Detroit.

During his speech, Biden also referred to Trump as a 'loser' and cited the successful civil complaint writer E Jean Carroll filed against the former president.

Biden said, "Donald Trump was found liable for sexual assault by a judge, who told us not to be fooled by Trump brushing it off. Here’s what the judge wrote. Quote, the judge in that case wrote, quote, 'Mr. Trump attempted to minimize sexual abuse, finding it frivolous. Mr. Trump raped her.' That’s the judge’s language, not mine. Raped her, as many people understand the word rape."

Regarding Trump's once-famous casino in Atlantic City, the Taj Mahal sprang into being in 1990 to much fanfare. October 2016 saw the casino close its doors, barely two weeks before the presidential election.

A user also added, "Cooked!"

Another one commented, "He's on the juice tonight - where has this been?"
