Nicole Scherzinger shows severe leg burns after performing despite boiling water accident
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Nicole Scherzinger has given fans a closer look at the painful leg injury she dealt with while continuing to perform on the PCD Forever Tour.
The singer recently shared photos showing a side of her glamorous stage appearances that fans do not usually see. The update came as she continued traveling with Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt for the PCD Forever Tour, showing the injury she had been dealing with away from the stage.
Nicole Scherzinger reveals painful leg burns
On October 6, Scherzinger shared six photos on Instagram, showing both her glamorous backstage moments and the injury she suffered to her leg. Some of the pictures showed burns and blisters, giving an idea of what she had been dealing with away from the stage.
She captioned the post, “What they see vs. what they don’t see...” The update came days after the 48-year-old singer revealed that boiling water had spilled on her leg just one hour before she was scheduled to perform in Dusseldorf, Germany, on September 26.
Scherzinger later shared a photo of the injury on her Instagram Stories, showing the extent of the burns. Despite the painful accident, Scherzinger did not cancel her performance.
She took the stage as planned and continued with the show. At the time, she wrote, “Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set. But the show must go on.” She also thanked the Dusseldorf audience for supporting her.
Nicole Scherzinger continues PCD Forever Tour
Scherzinger is currently touring with Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt as part of the PCD Forever Tour. The current lineup marks a new chapter for the group, which returned to the stage in 2026 nearly 20 years after its debut.
The tour has already taken the group across Europe, with performances continuing through October. It is scheduled to end with a show in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on October 30. For Scherzinger, the latest update gives a more personal look at the reality behind her polished performances.
“It’s incredible. I believe it might have been our first time performing (in) 2006, and it’s crazy that the time flies so much to think that it’s 20 years later. Busta (Rhymes) is a legend,” Scherzinger told PEOPLE ahead of the show.
“We love him. I actually just did a couple shows with him over the weekend overseas, and to be reunited with him, to be on the same stage with him, is always an honor.”
