WASHINGTON, DC: Once more, Joe Biden finds himself under fire online. This time, the criticism lined up for Biden after Sage Steele, a former ESPN host, made shocking revelations about her interview with the President. She asserts that it was all scripted and tightly structured by the higher-ups at the network.

This new bombshell comes right after another big uproar. Biden got criticized for recently saying he didn't declare Easter Sunday as the Transgender Day of Visibility.

The White House released a statement on March 31, marking the occasion alongside Easter Sunday. But many on social media weren't having it, accusing them of blasphemy.

Joe Biden's 2021 interview with former ESPN host was 'scripted'

According to Fox News, former ESPN host Steele sent a shockwave through the internet as she talked about her 2021 interview with President Biden, saying it was all scripted by the network. Steele recounted to Fox News how carefully 'structured' the pre-taped interview was, with her ESPN bosses handing her a literal script to follow.

Steele revealed, "That was an interesting experience in its own right because it was so structured. And I was told, ‘You will say every word that we write out, you will not deviate from the script and go'."

As mentioned by Fox News, Steele's interview with Biden in March 2021 shed light on how sports leagues were promoting normalcy during the COVID pandemic and also on the issue of vaccine hesitancy that was observed among athletes and their fans.

However, as per Steele, every word in the interview was orchestrated by ESPN. Speaking to Fox News, she said, "To the word. Every single question was scripted, and gone over dozens of times by many editors and executives. Absolutely. I was on script and was told not to deviate."

She further conveyed, "It was very much ‘This is what you will ask. This is how you will say it. No follow-ups, no follow-ups. Next.' … This went up to the fourth floor, as we said, where all the bosses, the top executives, the decision makers are, the president of our company, the CEO, where they all worked."

As per Fox News, Steele couldn't confirm if ESPN shared the questions with the White House before the interview, but she strongly suspected they did. However, ESPN declined to comment on the matter.

Steele revealed that her interaction with Biden was heartbreaking as she referred to the mental acuity of the POTUS. She said, "I think it's heartbreaking that the people who love Joe Biden and say they truly care about him have allowed it to get to this point."

"So I'm not even looking at this from a political angle or my beliefs in anything. This is the human side of it. And when someone is struggling, we allow them to continue to be in the spotlight and put them out there in the first place when they knew there were issues? Of course, they had to know. So it's a humanity thing with me where I don't care where anyone stands and what they vote for or who they believe in. Do you care about that person? As a father, husband, and everything," Steele told Fox News.

Internet users assert Joe Biden would've been in 'nursing home' if he wasn't president

Criticizing Biden for being a part of the scripted interview, a user on Facebook wrote, "Proves democrats are lying to the American citizens 😡. He is not fit for office that is why we are in the fix we are in 😡"

Another user wrote, "If he wasn’t the president, he would be in a nursing home!"

A user commented, "Think we all know that. He can’t form a thought by himself unless it’s to ask for an ice cream cone!"

Another user commented, "As Joe would say, "No joke". It is clear. It is obvious. No matter how the puppeteers handle him, Joe Biden shows his limitations with every walk he makes and every time he speaks. It is no secret."

One user stated, "It's because he's is incompetent due to dementia, of having a normal interview, but the elite don't want citizens to see it so it's scripted. This shows that he is incapable of being president and should never be allowed to run again."

Another user stated, "His whole so-called presidency is all scripted he has no clue what’s going on and people think he’s doing a great job! NOT."
