The New York Post reported that the former head of the state’s Office of Addiction Services and Supports was arrested in the City of Auburndale on Friday, June 28, after a test disclosed she had a blood alcohol content of .20, which was far more than the allowed limit of .08.

Arlene Gonzalez-Sanchez said ‘commissioner’ to cop as she was arrested

The publication citing the DA’s office stated that Arlene Gonzalez-Sanchez was arraigned on Saturday, June 29, as charges were pressed against her for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, leaving the scene of an accident, and others.

NYPD Officer Christopher Machalek in the complaint explained that Gonzalez-Sanchez was taken into custody after he heard an accident noise near the intersection of 50th Avenue and Weeks Lane at around 10:15 pm.

The cop saw her sitting inside her 2001 Toyota 4Runner. However, when Machalek asked the 68-year-old to come out of her car, she reportedly peed on herself before saying, “Commissioner” to him.
