WASHINGTON, DC: There have been a lot of discussions over the dynamics between Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Barack Obama in the aftermath of the 2024 election outcome.

Claims suggest that Harris has not communicated with Obama since the election results were declared. Despite her team's attempts to reach out, Obama's team has not responded.

Reports indicate that Kamala Harris' team contacted Barack Obama's aides after the election results, yet there has been no response.

On Monday, November 11, television correspondent Jack Posobiec posted on X that Harris' team has been trying to contact Obama but there has been no communication between the former president and the vice president since the presidential elections.

"JUST IN: Kamala has not spoken to either Obama. Her team has been reaching out but no one on Obama's team is calling or texting back, per WH official," Posobiec wrote.

In July, Obama's endorsement of Harris' presidential campaign represented a significant milestone, signaling her broad acceptance and support from the Democratic Party's most influential figures, such as former first lady Michelle Obama.

In an endorsement video, Obama stated, "We called to say Michelle and I couldn't be prouder to endorse you and to do everything we can to get you through this election and into the Oval Office."

Michelle Obama said, "I can't have this phone call without saying to my girl, Kamala, I am proud of you. This is going to be historic."

Internet speculates over changing dynamics between Barack Obama and Kamala Harris

Amid claims of Barack Obama not responding to Kamala Harris, many X users have suggested a change in the dynamic between Obama and Harris, which some interpret as a deliberate distancing by prominent Democratic figures.

A user wrote, "She's no longer needed, they dropped her as fast as they picked her up."

Many X users have humorously remarked that following recent events, Obama might not feel compelled to keep up the pretense of a close relationship with Vice President.

A user said, "Now that it's over, he doesn't have to pretend to like her anymore."

The third commentator remarked, "Hahaha she lost Obama his 4th term."

"Even they are sick of her drunk cackle and word salad," one X user mocked.

Nevertheless, certain users on X have expressed that Joe Biden's endorsement of Harris was a misstep. They also argued that she was not the favored candidate.

A person stated, "The Biden coup was not thought out at all. There was no plan, and Kamala was not the preferred candidate. Dark Brandon forced their hand."

Another chimed in, "Hahahaha Biden screwed the whole party over by endorsing her!!!!"

"They are done with her and her political career is over. Unburdened by what has been," a critic wrote.
