Pax Jolie-Pitt’s e-bike accident eyewitness who saved his life reveals harrowing details of his injuries
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pax Jolie-Pitt went through a terrifying ordeal after crashing his e-bike on Monday, July 29.
Pax, 20, was rushed to the hospital after bystanders came administered first aid and called 911. As the youngster was waiting for the paramedics to respond, blood was coming out of his mouth when he hurt his head in the injury.
While the son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt has been released from the ICU and is currently on the road to recovery, the frightening incident is still fresh enough in the minds of eyewitnesses.
A bystander by the name of Lola Cavalli recently recounted the harrowing experience of helping the youngster after his accident.
Pax-Jolie Pitt's mouth was 'filled with blood'
Lola Cavalli recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight, recalling the time she jumped into action to help Pax-Jolie Pitt after he rammed his electronic vehicle at the back of an immobile car. Pax was left with a severe head injury and was lying in the middle of the Los Angeles traffic.
She shared, "I didn't see any broken bones, I did not see, like, profound bleeding, so to speak. And since I was directed to apply pressure at the site where it was bleeding, I did not see where I could apply the pressure, because it was on the head. He was hit on the head.”
Cavalli, who was also the one to call 911, continued, "I had no idea where you would put the pressure to stop the bleeding on the head.”
"And it was not a lot of blood. Like, you didn't see like a fountain of blood rushing out. [But] his mouth was filled with blood,” described Cavalli, and added, “When he was trying to speak, I saw a little tiny stream of blood coming out of the mouth."
At that time Cavalli realized that she also had to make a plan fast to keep the traffic moving as Pax was lying in an intersection.
"I saw the traffic, because he was right in the middle of an intersection and nobody behind us could see what's happening," she explained.
Understanding the ordeal, Cavalli also attended to the traffic, saying, "I took control of the traffic. I started directing it to make sure that he was not run over by another car and I was not run over by a car."
"We did everything we thought would be necessary to make sure that the ambulance arrived, and [to make sure] oncoming traffic from both directions keeps on moving, instead of piling up, which would make our ambulance's approach impossible completely,” added the eyewitness who saved Pax’s life.
Pax was eventually taken to the hospital where he received treatment for his injuries. During his hospital stay, Jolie was always beside him.
Pax-Jolie Pitt released from ICU after a week of the accident
Almost a week after the accident, a source confirmed, "Pax has been released from the ICU.”
However, they added, per OK! Magazine, "He suffered complex trauma, and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy.”
A source, while talking to People, further shared that both the ‘Maleficent’ actress and her son are said to be “deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving action of first responders, and the outstanding medical care he received".
The insider added that during the Vietnam-born youngster’s hospital stay, his siblings “have been visiting and helping,” while noting, “They are all very close.”
Along with Pax, Jolie shares five other children with ex Brad Pitt: Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
