NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s recent public appearance in New York City has reignited long-standing rumors about her undergoing cosmetic enhancements.

The 77-year-old political figure was seen alongside her husband, former President Bill Clinton, with noticeably taut and glowing skin prompting widespread online chatter and expert commentary, reports The Daily Mail.

“She’s definitely doing maintenance,” said Dr Chris Thiagarajah, who pointed to possible use of fillers, laser skin resurfacing, saying, “A little bit of filler in the cheeks, laser skin resurfacing or other skin work. I'm seeing that and think it's possible but that's it.”

Dr Michael Niccole added that the smoother complexion and reduced fine lines could be the result of a chemical peel or similar rejuvenating treatment, rather than a full facelift.

“There's no question Hillary Clinton has had some form of non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Her skin appears smoother, and the fine lines are significantly reduced, which is typically the result of either a chemical peel or skin resurfacing treatment.”

While speculation swirls, not all experts are convinced that Clinton has undergone major surgery.

Renowned plastic surgeon Dr Boris Ackerman insists that signs of a facelift such as lifted cheeks and a tightened neck are absent, adding, “Looking at these photos, I can tell she definitely did not have surgery. She still looks age-appropriate.”

Instead, he attributed, “But she has most definitely had some type of skin resurfacing done by a laser or chemical peel, which creates smoother skin and eliminates creases. In short, her skin looks as though she has lived in Iceland all her life and had little sun damage.”

This isn’t the first time Clinton has faced rumors about cosmetic work. Claims of a “mini-operating room” at her home ahead of her 2016 campaign circulated in the past, though they were strongly denied by her spokesperson.

While 78-year-old Bill Clinton appeared his age, Hillary’s smooth complexion and radiant look drew widespread attention. Her seemingly age-defying glow quickly reignited long-standing rumors that the political powerhouse may have undergone aesthetic procedures over the years to maintain a youthful image.

In journalist Edward Klein’s controversial book 'Unlikeable: The Problem with Hillary', claims were made that Bill once encouraged his wife to consider facial treatments ahead of her presidential campaign.

“Hillary took it gradually and didn't have anything drastic done, because she wanted to evaluate the changes as she proceeded,” Klein quoted a source. “If it had started to make her look weird, she would have stopped it immediately. It was a pretty big deal and required multiple visits.”
