WASHINGTON, DC: A recent viral picture of President Donald Trump has sparked lots of online chatter about his appearance.

President Trump, 78, was criticized on Friday, January 31, for his vivid orange makeup and bushy white eyebrows after some startling new images of the president surfaced.

One user said on X (formerly Twitter), "Trump needs to put a tariff on whoever is doing his eyebrows," along with pictures of Trump's dreadful appearance.

Donald Trump's appearance mocked after he criticizes DEI initiatives

The newly elected President was criticized for his appearance after he implied that the recent plane disaster in Washington, DC, might have been caused by diversity, equity, and inclusivity (DEI) programs at the Department of Transportation in the Federal Aviation Administration.

A reporter questioned Trump about if he believed the disaster occurred as a result of a diversity hire at the first news conference following the American Airlines flight's collision with an Army helicopter during the plane's landing at Ronald Reagan National Airport.

"It could have been," Trump said and added, "I’m not blaming the controller. I’m saying there are things you could question." Following the social media sharing of the video, Trump received backlash for politicizing the tragedy, per OK! Magazine.

Donald Trump ridiculed over his use of a bronzer

The 78-year-old president previously received harsh criticism on X in October after a picture of his excessively bronzed face went viral.

According to OK! Magazine, Trump's skin appeared much darker in the photo as he stood at the podium during the event in Detroit. People quickly made fun of the father of five, who was vying for a second term against former US Vice President Kamala Harris.

One user wrote at the time, "Trump went with the bronzer shade Deep Copper today. It’s crunch time. Got to get the serious game face on."

Another commented, "It’s more of a bronze statue after they’ve cleaned the pigeon crap off colour, or broken old leather couch."

"Looks like a Oompa Loompa lol," said one, referring to the iconic movie character.

One commenter said, "Looks like he forgot the orange makeup over his brows," while another likened the President to an "Oompa Loompa" from the 2005 movie 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'.

They wrote, "He wasn’t shooting for Oompa Loompa Orange and White? Cause I think he nailed it …"

A user added, "Can he actually get anymore orange ? It’s looking like he is about to invent a whole new colour."

One said, "His glam squad told him they really make his reptilian eyes “POP”."

"Such a full blown embarrassment!" exclaimed another, while another said, "LMAO I said it yesterday... They're Fluorescent."

One said, "His eyebrows look fine. It’s the orange paint all over his face that seems problematic."

"Lmfao I was hoping to chime in. They go across like a ridge of some sort. Like a creature," exclaimed another.

One blatantly said, "Oompaloompa," while another quipped, "His eyebrow person took the deferred resignation offer."
