LONDON, UK: Prince Harry might release a follow-up to his memoir ‘Spare’ after the passing of his father King Charles.

Recently, a few experts have opined that the Duke of Sussex intends to bring the second part of his memoir after the death of the current monarch of England.

Previously, in January 2023, Harry released his memoir which he divulged several of the well-guarded royal secrets along with providing an insight into his relationships with his family members.

Prince Harry intends to bring a follow-up as per expert

While the estranged duke is yet to announce any future memoir, royal expert Kinsey Schofield thinks there is a chance that Harry might take up the pen again to write another memoir, if his strained relationship with heir to the British throne, Prince Willaim does not improve by that time.

However, to release a book, he has to wait till the death of the current monarch, says Schofield.

Per Express, Schofield said, "I do think he would write about his family again," before adding, "I suspect that maybe he would release a book after his father passed away."

The royal commentator added that such a situation would arise more, if Harry's brother, Prince William, continues to "keep [him] at arm's length."

In his ‘Spare’, Harry not only talked about his strained relationship with his father and brother but also talked negatively about his stepmother Queen Camilla

Nevertheless, after the book’s release, Harry shared with The Telegraph's Bryony Gordon that he cut down on the book’s content as he feared his family would never “forgive” him if he shared those instances.

The Invictus Games founder said, "There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don't want the world to know," before adding, "Because I don't think they would ever forgive me."

He, however, shared that he had enough material for two books should he ever write a follow-up.

King Charles asked Harry not to divulge secrets

After stepping down from his royal duties, Harry and his wife Meghan Markle flew to America to settle down in Montecito, California with their family.

After relocating to the new country, they also divulged some more views of their life through their docuseries ‘Harry & Meghan’.

Apart from the book and the show, they were also part of a damaging interview with Oprah Winfrey where they shared many secrets.

It has now been speculated that the King has asked Harry not to divulge any more royal family secrets.

According to royal expert Tom Quinn, who shared with The Mirror, "Harry has been asked directly by his father not to write or say publicly anything further about the family or his brother that might cause trouble.”

He continued, "And everyone knows that when a king asks you to do something, there are going to be consequences if you do not obey."
