Prince William receives 'security and love' from Kate Middleton amid feud with Prince Harry, claims expert
LONDON, ENGLAND: Prince William finds solace in his wife Kate Middleton after experiencing a bitter feud with his brother Prince Harry.
Recently, some royal commentators reflected on the situation the Prince of Wales finds himself in after distancing from his younger brother.
The commentators believe that after the siblings’ relationship soured, William’s wife, the Princess of Wales “gives him the security, love and friendship he needs."
Prince William gets security and love from Kate Middleton
Recently, royal commentator Ingrid Seward spoke to The Mirror about William’s bond with his wife, which grew stronger after distancing himself from Harry.
Referring to Harry’s multiple jabs at his older brother in ‘Spare’, the Oprah Winfrey interview, and the Netflix documentary, Seward said, "It has been one of the most difficult couple of years of Prince William’s life…”
He continued, "William is sensitive, he likes structure and has perseverance," before adding, "He does not give up easily."
The commentator further delved into the strained relationship between the brothers who were once extremely close after the passing away of their mother, Princess Diana.
Seward added, "His relationship with brother Harry upset him more than he would care to admit. But he found it easier to cut ties rather than allow himself to be continually annoyed.”
"His life with Kate gives him the security, love and friendship he needs,” concluded the royal correspondent.
Prince William is focused on Kate Middleton and King Charles’ cancer battle
Speaking to The Sun, another commentator Charles Rae said that at this point the future king is burdened with his wife’s and his father, King Charles III’s health. As two of his closest people are battling cancer, the prince is more focused on their health than reconciling with the Duke of Sussex.
Rae said in the interview, "Well, I think it is down to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to make the first move. Whether or not it would be accepted by William and Catherine, I doubt very much it would be," per OK! Magazine.
Referring to the bitterness, he said, "There's too much water which has gone under that bridge."
He further referred to Harry's wife Meghan Markle, "After everything Harry and Meghan have done with the Oprah Winfrey interview, that Netflix show, Spare. The flamboyant curtsey by Meghan on the show as well."
Rae noted, "There's too much gone under the bridge now," before adding, "If they're going to make the move, I am not so sure William and Catherine would respond favorably."
Since the beginning of this year, Prince William has been managing his royal duties along with caring for his brood. Referring to his increased work, Rae shared, “William’s got a lot more on his mind right now than repairing the troubles with his own brother," while adding, "He’s got his wife to look after and his three children."
