To mark the occasion, the royal couple shared a rare, unseen photo of Princess Charlotte, in which she looked strikingly similar to both of her parents. Netizens were quick to spot the identical features and couldn’t stop talking about how closely she resembled the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The birthday post came a few days after the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a family picture featuring all five members to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary. Around the same time, they also shared a celebratory post for Princess Charlotte’s younger brother, Prince Louis of Wales, as he turned 8 on April 23.

Dressed in a red-and-black striped top paired with denim trousers, Charlotte’s relaxed look is completed with her hair worn loose and her nails painted a playful shade of blue. The contrast between her outfit and the greenery adds warmth to the portrait, in which her features reflect a blend of her mother’s and father’s likeness.

The post was accompanied by the caption, "Wishing Charlotte a very happy 11th birthday!"

Marking the occasion further, William and Kate also shared a video montage filled with candid moments of Charlotte enjoying time outdoors. The clip captures her playing by the beach and spending time with the family’s dogs, Otto and Orla.
