LONDON, ENGLAND: As Britain’s Queen Camilla is cementing her position as the co-ruler and companion to King Charles, a prediction made by the late Princess Diana has come to fruition.

The late former Princess of Wales, who was previously married to King Charles, famously said that the queen has been fiercely loyal and her loyalty to the king would be “stronger than any marriage [Charles] might have made."

Recently during an interview with OK!, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said, "I think Diana was right to tell me that Camilla was 'loyal' and that Charles' love for Camilla was stronger than any marriage he might ever have made.”

Royal commentator reflects on Queen Camilla’s popularity

Queen Camilla, who was previously dubbed as the “other woman” in Charles’s marriage to Diana, is approaching her 77th birthday on July 17. Simultaneously her popularity with the public is also soaring owing to her competent holding of the Foirm in the face of numerous medical adversities.

Talking to the outlet, Bond said, "Camilla is certainly rocking it as she approaches her 77th birthday.”

The journalist further added, "I think she might have surprised herself by enjoying hard work as much as she seems to be doing!”

Camilla has been a pillar of support for the monarchy as her husband and step-daughter-in-law Kate Middleton have been battling cancer. Even Princess Anne, another stolid working royal, is also recuperating from a fall.

Bond continued in her praise of the queen, as she said, "She is, after all, a woman who has never had to knuckle down to a solid career or the slog of a 9 to 5 job. She has shouldered a sharply increased workload and a massive amount of responsibility in the past few months — and is looking and sounding great on it!"

Bind further explained that for Camilla, the work is proving to be even more hard as she would want the love of her life to be proud of her.

"I think part of it is because she so much wants the man she loves to be proud of her, and to pull her weight in their partnership,” said Bond.

Moreover, her earnest efforts have seemed to endear Camilla to the public - who once heavily criticized her for being the ‘marriage breaker’.

"But also it must be so gratifying to have earned widespread approval - even affection - from a public who once ganged up against her as the 'marriage breaker' and the 'other woman' who made Diana so unhappy,” noted Bond.

She also added, “These days I think Camilla is looking sleeker, smarter, and more stylish than ever and she has grown immeasurably in confidence. What a contrast to those early days when she looked and sounded so very nervous if she had to speak in public.”

“Now she is assured, confident, and comfortable in her new and very demanding role,” gushed the veteran royal journalist. Princes George, Louis and Princess Charlotte have sweet nickname for Queen Camilla

Despite having a rocky start in the British royal family, Queen Camilla soon solidified her position in her family.

While she has five biological grandchildren of her, she has also established an affectionate relationship with Charles's grandchildren.

While Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte call their grandfather 'Grandpa Wales', probably because of his previous title of Prince of Wales, they also have an adorable nickname for Queen Camilla.

It has been revealed that Queen Camilla is affectionately known as 'Gaga'.

Previously, in an interview, she once revealed, "My grandchildren call me GaGa. I don’t know if it’s because they think I am! It is funny but is still very sweet."
