R&B singer Coco Jones marries NBA star Donovan Mitchell after nearly three years together

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Coco Jones is officially off the market. The singer-songwriter has tied the knot with Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Donovan Mitchell.

A viral video was shared online showing the happy couple dancing on the dance floor in their pristine white wedding outfits. The couple started dating around the Fourth of July in 2023 and have kept their relationship very low-key.

Jones nor Mitchell shared any updates about their wedding, but former basketball player Troy Payne shared a video from the ceremony, while Complex Sports also reported on their wedding. 

As soon as the wedding video was shared, social media went crazy, and within a couple of minutes, it drew widespread attention, with congratulatory messages pouring in for the couple's latest chapter.

Now, for those unaware, the reported wedding came just a year after the Grammy-winning artist and the NBA star announced their engagement. 

Even though their relationship stayed out of the limelight, the couple always tried to keep a low profile. The video shows Jones wearing a fish-cut wedding dress and a short veil. The couple was seen dancing and walking across the floor while photographers captured their special day.

Well, for those unaware, Jones opened the 2026 Super Bowl with a powerful performance of 'Lift Every Voice and Sing', honoring the Black national anthem before the game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

According to the New York Post, Coco Jones and Donovan Mitchell first met at billionaire and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin's annual Fourth of July White Party in 2023. The star-studded event, held in the Hamptons, regularly attracts celebrities including Beyonce, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Tom Brady.

In July 2025, Jones shared a rare photo of herself and Mitchell without a caption, which many fans interpreted as an engagement announcement. 

"After an amazing season and a sold-out tour, Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones took a moment to recharge on vacation, which turned it into a beautiful engagement," a representative told People. "The couple has been dating for two years and look forward to building a life together."

"Like, ever since I was a little girl. I knew I was going to be this performer, but I really wanted that moment to be just for me, me, not about views or clicks or sales. So I hope that it can be really intimate, really special," they added.
