Reese Witherspoon shares rare photo with lookalike daughter Ava on her 27th birthday
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Reese Witherspoon has showered love on her eldest child, Ava Elizabeth Phillippe, who turned 27 on Wednesday, September 9.
The 50-year-old actress is also the mother of two sons, Deacon and Tennessee.

To mark her only daughter’s special day, Witherspoon took to Instagram and posted a rare photo of herself smiling alongside her daughter.
The mother-daughter duo looked strikingly alike in the snap.
The ‘Legally Blonde’ star captioned the post as “Happy birthday to my sweet girl Ava! Infinitely creative, thoughtful and hilarious. Keep shining your beautiful light, my girl. I love you!”
Witherspoon shares Ava and Deacon with her first husband, Ryan Phillippe, whom she was married to from 1999 to 2008.
She had her third and youngest child, Tennessee, with her ex-husband and former talent agent, Jim Toth, whom she married in 2011. The couple divorced in 2023.

The Academy Award winner has been very open about motherhood and how grateful she is for her children.
On ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’, she reportedly said, “There’s a lot of compromise ... You feel like that’s what makes me wake up on a Sunday, it’s not movies or my job, it’s my kids. Being a mom is really great, it’s a big part of my life. I would say it’s the biggest part of my life.”
Also in 2021, while speaking with Gayle King for InStyle, the ‘Big Little Lies’ actress said that her “first, most important priority is my kids. If I told you how much space in my brain they take up every day, do you even think they know, Gayle? I don't even think they know.”
Reese Witherspoon praises Ava’s journey of self-discovery
In the same interview, Witherspoon spoke at length about whether her lookalike daughter wants to be an actress like her.
She stated, “It's an odd situation because I didn't grow up famous. So she's living an experience that I did not have, and so are my sons. We are lucky enough to have friends who grew up in Hollywood and can help give them advice on how to navigate.”
“Ava is so down-to-earth. She wants to do great things in the world. She's studying and learning and trying to find herself. It's a big thing in life to try different things and figure out what is really your path,” Witherspoon had added.
