WASHINGTON, DC: Riley Gaines took to social media to praise a new Super Bowl advertisement that celebrates pro-life choices and suggests that women should not terminate their pregnancies and instead give them up for adoption.

The conservative political activist posted the ad video from the organization Adoption Is on her X (formerly Twitter) account and wrote, “New Super Bowl ad just dropped, reminding women facing unexpected pregnancies that adoption is an option.”

“Rarely do we see an ad like this, especially during the Super Bowl. If one woman sees this & decides not to terminate her baby, then it's worth every penny spent,” she added.

The advertisement that Gaines was talking about starts with a young woman sitting inside a washroom and getting emotional after finding out that she’s pregnant. The next few seconds show her getting anxious as she hears many voices coming from all directions — either she chooses the baby or goes for an abortion.

However, toward the end of the video, the woman gets the clarity that there’s one other option as well, which is adoption.

In the background, a voice can be heard saying, “They are telling you there are only two choices but the truth is there’s three. Are these options difficult? Of course they are. But you deserve to know adoption is an option.”

Riley Gaines says words like reproductive rights are 'designed to soften reality'

This came after, in late January, the former collegiate swimmer took the stage for the Pro-Life Summit, where she talked about why one should not think of abortion. She said, “I think over the past few years, national leaders, they view this issue as a nuanced one.”

“They kind of want to sit on the fence. They don't really want to fully dip into the water. Maybe put a toe in, but that's as far as they're willing to go. I don't think it should be taken for granted,” she added.

Gaines also talked about language being manipulated “to serve ideology.”

She stated, “We hear words like reproductive rights and healthcare freedom and bodily autonomy and choice. But these words that they use, they're not accidental, they're designed to soften reality.”

Gaines, who is also a mother, further asserted that “one more truth that I've learned over the past four months is that our culture works overtime to attempt to deny, and that's the beauty of motherhood. It has been the most magical and transformative thing that you could possibly experience as a woman, if you can, that you could.”
