RJ Mitte’s sister pens emotional tribute to late 'Breaking Bad’ star: ‘Lost my other half’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: RJ Mitte’s sister, former child actor Lacianne Carriere, remembered her late brother days after his untimely death.
The ‘Breaking Bad’ star died on October 12 at age 34.
Lacianne Carriere calls RJ Mitte 'my everything'
Taking to Instagram on Friday, October 23, Carriere posted multiple photos and videos of her elder sibling. “There are just no words. You were just here.. your strawberry Fanta was still sitting on my coffee table when I got the call. Life hasn’t felt real since then," she wrote in the caption.
Carriere continued, “Rj you were my everything. I just lost my other half. I lost my brother but I also lost my father… Every single aspect of my personality is because of your influence.”
The 22-year-old further noted how her late brother influenced her taste in music, films, and video games.
Lacianne Carriere says RJ Mitte's 'love will always live through me'
“You made me, me. We had so much more to do, so many more memories to be shared and I don’t know if my heart can ever be whole again after losing the biggest piece of it,” Carriere shared, before adding, “I know you’re telling me right now that I’ll be okay though I don’t know how I will. But I promise I’m going to do my hardest and I promise your love will always live through me until the day I see you again.”
Carriere concluded her emotional post by adding, “I loved you completely. And you loved me the same. That’s all. The rest is confetti. 💜”

Following the death of Mitte, known for playing Walter "Flynn" White Jr on ‘Breaking Bad’, a representative for him told PEOPLE that because of his “own experience of living with cerebral palsy, Mitte brought authenticity to the role and built a platform on disability awareness and inclusion.”
Lacianne Carriere recalled her childhood with RJ Mitte at a Celebration of Life ceremony
This was not the first tribute of Carriere for the ‘Standing Up for Sunny’ star.
During his Celebration of Life in Brownsville on October 16, she said, “RJ Mitte was my older brother, but I not only just lost a brother, I lost my father. My mom was a single mother, and when I was two weeks old, she was in an accident that paralyzed her from the waist down the first few years of my life. And my brother immediately took on a father role.”

“I don’t have many words that I can put together, but all I can say is that every part of me is RJ. Every type of music I listen to. Everything I watch, every game I play. Our mannerisms. And I just really miss my brother,” Carriere added.
