Gilfillan was also seen beside Jake and his family at the May 2025 premiere of ‘Things Like This’ in New York.

The report of Jake and Maria’s wedding comes just months after Jake lost his parents in December 2025.

The 32-year-old pleaded not guilty to the charges. He is currently incarcerated at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles.
Jake Reiner opens up about losing his parents
During a recent interview, Jake opened up about the tragedy. He was also spotted wearing a wedding band.
“Nobody really understands what it’s like to go through something like that until you’re living it. It’s been eight months. It feels like eight years at the same time. And it also feels like eight minutes. Because every moment that I wake up, I’m reminded of my reality,” he stated.
Reflecting on his parents’ relationship with him, Nick and their sister Romy, Jake added, “My parents had unconditional love for all three of us. I can tell you they never stopped wanting to help him. They never stopped helping him.”
Jake Reiner claimed he got 'robbed of so many things' after parents' death
In an April post to Substack, Jake shared how he felt after the deaths of his parents.
“I was robbed of so many things that day. My parents won’t be at my wedding, they won’t get to hold their future grandchild, and they won’t get to see me have the successful career I’m still seeking,” he stated.
Jake further asserted that “nothing can prepare you for what it feels like to lose both parents instantly at the same time. It’s too devastating to comprehend. I still wake up every morning having to convince myself that, no, it’s not a dream. This truly is my living nightmare.”
