Sandra Bullock joins Instagram, roasts Channing Tatum for buying a year’s T-shirts to skip laundry
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Miss Congeniality’ star Sandra Bullock has made her social media debut. After years of refusing to join Instagram, it seems Bullock has finally created an account. She didn’t waste a second before roasting her 'The Lost City' co-star, Channing Tatum.
With her very first comments, Sandra jumped into a fan’s comment section, where she casually revealed a funny little secret about Tatum. The moment was both surprising and hilarious for fans.
But the Oscar winner didn’t stop there. She went on to comment under multiple friends’ posts. She even dropped a comment on Nicole Kidman’s post, showing she was fully ready to join the online fun.

Sandra Bullock is clearly enjoying her time on Instagram. She shared one short video and captioned it ' Midnight somewhere'.
When a fan page shared quotes from Tatum’s 2024 interview, in which he admitted to buying a year’s worth of shirts to avoid doing laundry, Bullock quickly reacted.
She dropped into the comments with a playful “Of course you did.” along with a winking emoji. It shows she already knows how to keep fans entertained online.
The moment also reflects how close the two really are. Back in 2022, W Magazine reported that although they had met earlier, including at Bullock’s birthday party when Tatum was “still just a model”, their bond grew stronger because of their kids’ mischievous nature.
They even found themselves meeting again in a preschool principal’s office after both were called in for their daughters.
Bullock has also been interacting with other friends on the platform. Meanwhile, her upcoming sequel, 'Practical Magic 2', seems to be adding to her “witchy” energy. She also commented “we’re so back” on co-star Kidman’s July video, which showed the two sharing a hug on the film’s set.
Channing Tatum reveals no-laundry year habit
Speaking about Channing Tatum, he previously revealed a surprisingly costly way he avoided one of life’s simplest chores for an entire year, according to his GQ interview.
“I had one year that I called ‘The Year of the Fresh White Tee,’” the 'Step Up' star said, recalling the period around 1999 or 2000. Looking back, he described it fondly, adding, “It was a beautiful year.”
He explained, “I don’t think I did laundry all year that year, and I just wore white T-shirts that I just bought.”
But the 44-year-old made it clear that he wasn’t discarding the clothes after wearing them just once. "I'd be like 'I can get like two wears out of this a week,'" Channing continued. "This is gonna be good."
He added that he would stretch each shirt’s use, saying, “I’d be like ‘I can get like two wears out of this a week.’ This is gonna be good.” Tatum revealed the reason behind it, saying, “I hate doing laundry. I hate it more than I can possibly say.”
