Internet criticizes Kevin Spacey's Comic-Con appearance despite being cleared of sexual assault charges

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: People on the internet are not happy with Kevin Spacey's comic-con appearance at a horror convention in February.
The controversial actor has been on-boarded for the three-day event — from February 16th to February 18th — by Mad Monster, Daily Mail reported.
Kevin Spacey will be present all three days of the event
The firm made the announcement on its different social media pages, which showed a photo of Spacey while one of his hands was covered in blood.

The post read, “Mad Monster is excited to welcome Two-Time Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey (Se7en, The Usual Suspects, American Beauty, House of Cards).”
“Kevin will be joining us all 3 days, and he does NOT offer table selfies. We will be offering House of Cards, The Usual Suspects “Line Up,” and Se7en “What’s in the Box?” Pro Photo-Ops. Photo Ops are on sale NOW!” it added.
This is not the main comic con that is happening in Concord, North Carolina, but a smaller mad monster party.
Kevin Spacey was accused of sexual misconduct
Online users have expressed their disgust over the ‘House of Cards’ star’s participation.

They have also called out Mad Monster for limiting/disabling the comment section online and not refunding the money who already purchased tickets for the event.
In the past, Spacey was accused of sexual abuse by several men. Though he was not found guilty, his reputation has been tarnished.

MAD MONSTER knows exactly what they’re doing by giving Kevin Spacey a platform. They want the controversy cause it brings free press. They literally marketing it as “first ever convention appearance” which is gross on so many levels.

Mad Monster has meant so much to me. I tell my cancer patients the story of how Elvira helped me during chemo. It was the one con I never missed. Their decision to bring in Kevin Spacey, delete all comments objecting, and block those seeking refunds breaks my heart. So long pic.twitter.com/dLtVXeKUlh

There were a few who took to Reddit to share their views as a person commented, “Yikes to that visual of him connecting with actual ‘fans’. Is he…do you think he would run for President or something? How Machiavellian IS Kevin Spacey? He troubles me.”
“Thankfully it’s not an official comic con because woof how to ruin your business in 3 easy steps. Step 1 hire a sex offender, step 2 refuse to refund people who do not want their money going towards a sex offender, step 3 alienate a large percentage of your audience and sink your future ticket sales/reputation. Good riddance to both of them,” a second one mentioned.
