Scott Disick realized he needs to ‘stop taking Ozempic’ after ‘public outcry’ over his rapid weight loss
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Scott Disick is reconsidering “using Ozempic” after there has been a “public outcry” about his appearance.
The 40-year-old ‘The Kardashians’ star sparked concerns among his fans after he appeared to look gaunt in the photographs clicked recently.
Fans even started expressing their concerns on his social media channels including Instagram, where they implored him to stop having any more weight-loss drugs.
However, according to the sources, Disick has realized the folly of the situation and is reportedly thinking of seeing a nutritionist to gain back a healthy weight.
Scott Disick realizes he should stop taking Ozempic
A source close to the reality TV star recently shared with Daily Mail that Disick has decided to stop taking Ozempic - an injectable diabetic drug that aids in weight loss.
An insider with direct knowledge of the situation shared recently, "Scott recognized that he needed to stop taking Ozempic after seeing the photos of himself and the public outcry over his weight loss."
The source shared that Scott felt he looked good after becoming thinner. But nevertheless, he realized that the drastic weight loss that he had undergone to tackle his “dad bod” was not healthy.
"He thought he looked good because he was thinner again – not realizing that this was not healthy,” said the source.
Disick, who shares three children with his ex Kourtney Kardashian, is now allegedly working with a nutritionist to gain some healthy weight.
“He is now working with a nutritionist to get back on track and not balloon up to the size he was,” added the source.
"Scott has been incredibly attractive and fit his entire life and is not having the best time accepting that age is catching up with him."
Disick allegedly gravitated toward Ozempic after struggling with his “dad bod” following a back injury that facilitated weight gain.
However, the source reassured that while Disick is now working toward a healthier lifestyle, he is not addicted to any “hardcore drug".
"He is not ill and isn’t doing hardcore drugs. Kourtney would never allow Scott to spend so much time with their kids if he was in the throes of an addiction,” explained the source to the outlet.
They revealed that Disick’s previous weight gain caused him to struggle with his confidence. Suffering from low self-esteem, the father of three could not approve of how he looked.
"Scott started taking Ozempic because he had serious issues with his weight gain. This time last year he saw himself as fat,” shared the insider.
They explained, “He had gained a lot of weight and couldn’t stand seeing himself in video footage that aired in the past couple of months. He would go to great lengths to cover it up."
His family is now “worried” about his health as he has taken the weight loss too far.
The source added, "They will likely use this for show ratings in 'The Kardashians'. Scott is strong and will be able to get through this - especially now that he knows that it has become a huge problem with his image and fame."
Fans worried about Scott Disick's weight loss
After the 'Flip It Like Disick' shared a photograph of him on Instagram in late March, fans showed their concerns regarding his health.
One of the fans said, "While you can do what you want, I hope you know you look way better with more weight on. Yes, it’s all about how you feel but I would think you would know how hot you were being 10-15#’s heavier."
Someone else said, "Let’s stop focusing on his weight, y’all. Give us the beef Scotty boiii!"
Another fan commented on his appearance, "Looking so thin 😔."
"He’s so cute. Don’t lose anymore weight. You look great now ❤," chimed in another.
"Are u ok," asked a concerned fan.
