Kourtney Kardashian's note to new moms

Kourtney Kardashian, who recently welcomed her first baby with Travis Barker, wrote, "Your body is beautiful at all stages: during pregnancy as we are glowing and growing, postpartum as we are healing and shrinking, and then that period I find the hardest as our bodies are still adjusting."

The socialite encouraged women to be patient and allow their bodies time to "adjust," according to DailyMail.

“And if you're breastfeeding, that's a whole other part of it. I try to be kind to myself as my body finds a new normal. The pressure put on us to bounce back when everything is new and different isn't realistic,” Kourtney added.

The mother-of-four concluded her Story, which she reshared with the note, “Life is beautiful, you are beautiful. Just a little reminder (for me too). XOXO," she concluded, also adding a white and blue heart.

Kourtney and Travis welcomed son Rocky Thirteen on November 1, 2023. After coming home, she thanked the medical team and doctors for taking care of her.

“I will forever be grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby's life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterward, my rock,” she wrote on her Instagram.

Kourtney has three children with her ex-partner Scott Disick: sons Mason, 14, and Reign, nine, and daughter Penelope, 11.

Kourtney Kardashian faces criticism for postpartum body advice to women

The internet criticized Kourtney Kardashian for offering advice to new mothers.

"Imagine this coming from a Kardashian… lol," one user wrote.

The second joked, "I like the Kardashians but is she for real? She and her family have created and perpetuated that pressure she speaks of. The irony!"

"There is no pressure. Most of the general public. Could care less if they ever see another photo of you or your family. lol," another person slammed Kourtney.

One more user said, "Empty words. Society is brutal on women who gain weight/age. And she and her family have only contributed to the pressure with their numerous surgeries and filtered pictures."

"She can start by talking to her sisters about that," one person quipped.

"Health advice from a Kardashian? Most plastic people I have ever seen," a surprised netizen wrote.
