WASHINGTON, DC.: Political commentator and CNN contributor Scott Jennings revealed that he let President Donald Trump personally choose the photo for the cover of his upcoming book, 'A Revolution of Common Sense', which documents the early months of Trump’s second term in office.

Jennings shared the revelation during a recent appearance on The Officer Tatum Podcast, where he discussed the book and the president’s enduring influence over his supporters and allies.

Scott Jennings says Donald Trump chose ‘a great photo’ for his book cover

During his interview with host Brandon Tatum, Jennings said he allowed Trump to make the final decision about which photo would appear on the cover, describing the image as one that captured the president’s strength and stature.

“I let the president pick the cover, and it is a great photo of him,” Jennings said, emphasizing that the photo shows Trump exiting the White House flanked by two saluting Marines.

Jennings also shared the “fun fact” on social media, posting a clip of his podcast appearance on X while praising Trump’s choice. The book, which chronicles “roughly the first 100 to 120 days” of Trump’s return to office, is set for release on November 18, just in time for the holiday season.

“You’ll get it on November 18th. You’ll have it in time for Christmas. Get one for every relative,” Jennings said, urging listeners to buy copies whether or not they support Trump. “If your relative loves Trump, get it. If they don’t, get it as a gag gift. Either way, it’s a good book to get. Put it under the Christmas tree.”

Donald Trump slams Time magazine over ‘worst ever’ cover photo

Trump’s involvement in Jennings’ book cover came shortly after his public meltdown over a recent Time magazine cover that featured him in what he described as “maybe the Worst of All Time.”

The TIME story highlighted Trump’s role in brokering a ceasefire deal in Gaza and facilitating the release of Israeli hostages. But the accompanying photo—an upward-facing shot that emphasized Trump’s chin and neck while partially obscuring his hair—sparked fury from the president.

“They ‘disappeared’ my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one,” Trump complained on Truth Social in a late-night post. “Really weird! I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?”
