Diddy's attorney calls new sexual harassment lawsuit against son Christian Combs 'manufactured lies'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A new set of allegations has been slammed against the Combs family, which Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyer claims as “manufactured lies.”
The music producer has been named in a new sexual harassment suit filed against Diddy’s son, Christian Combs, in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 4. In the new lawsuit, a woman named Grace O’Marcaigh has accused Diddy’s son, Christian of sexually assaulting her in 2022 when she was working on a yacht and she has accused Diddy of aiding and abetting his son afterward.
Diddy's Miami and Los Angeles residences were recently raided by Homeland Security as part of a sex trafficking probe.
The Bad Boy record founder’s lawyer, however, dismissed the allegation by accusing O’Marcaigh’s attorney of "manufacturing lies."
Diddy’s lawyer calls out the lawsuit
The woman accusing Christian is represented by the attorney Tyrone Blackburn. Apart from O’Marcaigh, Blackburn also represents Rodney Jones who previously alleged that he has audio recordings that can prove Diddy’s involvement in unlawful activities.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Aaron Dyer, the attorney for Sean and Christian Combs said, "We have not seen this woman’s claim, but I’m sure we can expect the same kind of manufactured lies we’ve come to expect from Tyrone Blackburn and his clients, just as we saw in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit – which has yet to be served."
The statement continues to share that Blackburn "was just slapped by a federal judge in New York earlier this week for his ‘pattern of behavior’ in ‘improperly [filing] cases in federal court to garner media attention, embarrass defendants with salacious allegations, and pressure defendants to settle quickly'."
Dyer further continued, "Two days after he was referred to the disciplinary committee in the Southern District of New York, it’s interesting he chose to file a new suit in California.”
“This is just another page from that same playbook, as we learned of this lawsuit the same way anyone hears about Mr. Blackburn’s filings: through the media,” claimed the attorney.
More on the lawsuit
O’Marchaigh claimed in the lawsuit that she was subjected to sexual harassment while she worked as a server on a yacht chartered by Diddy in December 2022.
She said that while she took the job, she was made to believe that the cruise would be "a wholesome family excursion.” However, later she saw it changed into a party atmosphere with "constant rotation of suspected sex workers."
She claimed that she feared some of the drinks served on board might have been spiked. One evening, the alleged victim claimed that she was informed that Diddy’s son would be coming aboard to use the yacht’s music room. She further continued that when he came to the yacht, he was “heavily intoxicated” and started paying attention to her.
After he coaxed her into drinking a tequila shot, O’Marchaigh said that she felt the drink was adulterated. She also admitted feeling fearful of Christian as he started groping her.
It has been alleged in the court documents that in one of the audio recordings in possession of Rodney Jones, O’Marcaigh can be heard refusing Christian’s advancements.
She further claimed that as Christian asked her to find him a place to sleep for the night, she showed him the cinema where others also slept sometimes.
She claimed that after she showed him the place, he started groping her again and undressed. He also tried to force her to perform oral sex on him and left bruise marks on her arms.
The alleged assault ended when someone else came to the room.
