LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a lawsuit filed on May 21, Crystal McKinney—a former model and MTV's 1998 'Model Mission' competition show winner—has accused Sean 'Diddy' Combs of sexual abuse after drugging her when she was 22.

In the New York lawsuit obtained by CNN, McKinney stated that she was "drugged and sexually assaulted" by Diddy in 2003 during an event for Men's Fashion Week in New York City. McKinney received a modeling deal with IMG after winning MTV's 'Model Mission' in 1998. She appeared in a fashion ad for designer Tommy Hilfiger and gained recognition from several MTV shows.

Crystal McKinney claims Diddy drugged and sexually assaulted her in 2003

The complaint claimed that Crystal McKinney, who was 22 at the time, first encountered Diddy in 2003 at a dinner where he approached her "in a sexually suggestive manner" and asked her to call him later.

The rap mogul brought McKinney to his recording studio later that evening, and McKinney "felt confused but hopeful that Combs would fulfill his promises to help her career," stated the lawsuit.

McKinney claimed the rapper loaded her with alcohol, potentially spiked it with marijuana, and forced her to her knees in a restroom demanding her to perform oral sex on him during their 2003 meet.

When McKinney refused to comply, she claimed that Diddy grabbed her head and had her perform oral sex with him, per documents obtained by TMZ.

Following the assault, McKinney claimed she became "more and more woozy and then lost consciousness." She eventually woke up in a taxi on her way back to her apartment. The complaint further stated, "As her consciousness returned, Plaintiff realized that she had been sexually assaulted by Combs."

The claim is the most recent and severe accusation leveled at the hip-hop mogul in recent months, while it's still unclear if McKinney intended there to be a further assault beyond the oral encounter.

Crystal McKinney was blackballed from modeling after the 2003 incident

The lawsuit stated that McKinney "became severely depressed" after the incident involving Diddy and "experienced alcohol and drug addiction" in an attempt to cope with it.

McKinney stated that she was barred from modeling after the incident and that her depression got so bad that she attempted suicide in 2004, per the New York Post.

In the lawsuit, it is stated that McKinney has since given up on her modeling career and continues to deal with mental health issues related to the alleged assault. She is requesting punitive and compensatory damages in an amount not yet determined.

According to CNN, McKinney has filed legal action against the defendants alleging that they violated the New York Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law.

The New York City Council states that the law provided "survivors of gender-motivated acts of violence more time to pursue civil actions by extending the statute of limitations” and also “applies to such acts committed by parties who direct, enable, participate in, or conspire in a gender-motivated act of violence."
