MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: On May 2, Newsmax host Carl Higbie praised Donald Trump for his "energy," highlighting the former president's hectic schedule as he traveled across different parts of Manhattan.

Trump made an appearance in a Lower Manhattan court for his ongoing criminal trial concerning allegations of falsifying business records.

Newsmax host Carl Higbie tore into House Republicans on March 13 for voting for a bill that could effectively ban the popular app TikTok (@NewsmaxTV/Yuoutube)
On the May 2 segment of 'Frontline,' Higbie gave a thorough description of Trump's actions, which included a live broadcast of him at the firehouse(@NewsmaxTV/YouTube)

Higbie shares Trump's active schedule with live coverage from a firehouse

After engaging with reporters, where he inaccurately claimed he was forbidden from testifying, Trump made his way to Midtown.

There, he stopped to pick up two pizzas, which he subsequently delivered to a fire station before proceeding to Trump Tower.

On the May 2 segment of 'Frontline' on Newsmax, Higbie gave a thorough description of Trump's actions, which included a live broadcast of him at the firehouse.

“It looks like Donald Trump’s gonna come up and give a few words here,” Higbie said.

He continued, “We’re following him. It looks like he’s actually gonna get back in the car. But I love it when that guy gives the impromptu press conference. Keep our eye on this real quick. This is unbelievable."

Higbie further added, "This guy is nonstop. He gets out of court, goes over, grabs a slice of pizza, crawls in the car, he’s going back to Fifth Avenue at Trump Tower. This is like, this is the energy we need.”

The distance from the courthouse to Trump Tower is approximately four miles, but it extends to about six if he chooses to take the FDR route.

Trump is presently entangled in four criminal cases, with his trial being merely one of them. He has entered a plea of not guilty to all 88 counts levied against him across these cases.
