‘Should never be trusted’: Internet slams RFK Jr and running mate Nicole Shanahan following reports of her alleged affair with Elon Musk
WASHINGTON, DC: A series of claims have been made against Robert F Kennedy Jr’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, including her alleged affair with SpaceX founder, Elon Musk.
Shanahan had been married to a co-founder of Google, Sergey Brin, from 2018 to 2023, and shares a daughter with him.

HuffPost citing a report by The New York Times stated that during her time in Silicon Valley, the 38-year-old enjoyed a very lavish life and was a part of most elite social circles.
However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, her and Brin’s relationship reportedly got damaged, and the former started going out without her ex-husband.

The Times report claimed that at the time, Shanahan also began to party a lot and take drugs, like cocaine, ketamine, and psychedelic mushrooms.
Once she became so intoxicated at a 2021 Miami party that IV was infused in her body.

In the same year in December, the mother-of-one met Muskat at a private party in Miami hosted by his brother, Kimbal. It was reportedly her second meeting with the CEO of Tesla Motors.
The report citing four sources alleged that the duo took ketamine and vanished from the event together for many hours.
Later, Shanahan reportedly revealed to Brin as well as her friends and family that she had sex with Elon Musk.
Soon after the alleged incident, Brin and Shanahan went their separate ways, and weeks later, the billionaire filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

However, she denied the allegations of her affair with Elon Musk in an interview with PEOPLE.
In 2023, the attorney said, “My career has been based on academic and intellectual credibility, and I was being shamed internationally for being a cheater.”
“To be known because of a sexual act is one of the most humiliating things, it was utterly debilitating,” she stated.
Shanahan also asserted at the time, “Did Elon and I have sex, like it was a moment of passion, and then it was over? No. Did we have a romantic relationship? No. We didn’t have an affair.”
