'Single mom' Kim Kardashian juggling life and work as ex Kanye West is 'not around much', reveals insider

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian is juggling life as a busy mom to four children, with minimal support from ex-husband Kanye West, according to a source.

The SKIMS founder, who turned 44 on Monday, October 21, is reportedly "pretty much a single mom" as West, 47, is "not around very much," the insider told PEOPLE.

Kardashian’s world revolves around her children, North, 11; Saint, 8; Chicago, 6; and Psalm, 5, making sure their schedules and well-being come first. Despite having help, "it’s still a lot of work for her to balance and coordinate everything," the source added.

While her children are in school, Kardashian focuses on her business ventures, and when they’re home, she shifts her attention fully to being a mother, according to the insider.

The source added, "Kim's life is around her kids' schedules. When they are in school, she works. When they are off, she's very much focused on being a mom."

The insider added that the SKIMS co-founder "is not even dating anyone now. It's all about work and the kids."

Kardashian recently shared glimpses of her family life as she and her children began celebrating Halloween. The post also features a gingerbread house gifted by her sister Kourtney Kardashian Barker and brother-in-law Travis Barker. 

She also gave a glimpse into her time with the children, posting a photo of fall-themed cupcakes they baked together. "Baked w the kids last night," she wrote.

Some people argue that her immense wealth and resources make her situation vastly different from the struggles of most single parents.

One user commented, "Single mom is relative LOL. It's way easier to be a single mom with hundreds of millions of dollars and many servants to wait on you. I went to an all-inclusive with my baby and it was way easier being a mom when people cook for you and clean up after you."
