Snoop Dogg reveals adorable name his eldest grandkid gave him, says he loves all of his 12 grandchildren
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper and cannabis enthusiast, has a softer side that he shows to his 12 grandchildren.
He recently shared the cute nickname that his first grandson gave him and how much he cherishes his role as a grandfather.

The 52-year-old hip-hop icon appeared on an episode of 'The Jennifer Hudson Show' where he chatted with the host about his large and diverse family.
Snoop is father to four children: sons Cordell, 26, Corde, 29, and Julian, 25, and daughter Cori, 24.
Jennifer Hudson asked him how many grandchildren he has, and he replied, “Actually, I have a total of 12 grandkids.”
Hudson was amazed by the number and asked him how he managed to keep up with them all.
Snoop said, “They’re different ages, ranges, sizes and I love them all the same way. Actually, my oldest grandson, his birthday is today so I’m on my way to his birthday party when I leave here.”

He also revealed the name of his eldest grandson, Zion Broadus, who was turning nine years old. He said, “He was the first one to name me. He used to call me Papa Noop, because he couldn’t say Snoop, so he started calling me Papa Noop. And then as time went by, he learned how to say Snoop, so now I’m Papa Snoop.”
Grandchildren are 'everything' for Snoop Dogg
Snoop Dogg in the clip shared with People in June said, “I am a grandfather of six, with one on the way.
"And my grandkids are my everything because they all individually get a piece of my heart and they’re different.” He gave some examples of how his grandkids are different and unique.

He said, “My oldest grandson Zion told me he’s the biggest star in the family. He took my Snoop Loopz box and put his own little cover on the front and made his own cereal.”
He also mentioned his granddaughter CC (Journey), who plays tennis and adores him. He said, “She sees me in the store in my little Corona ads and what not — [she says], ‘Papa!’ That s— means the world to me for them to call me that because I had a papa.”
Snoop Dogg reflects on his relationship with his own grandpa
Snoop Dogg also talked about his own grandfather who was his best friend and mentor. He said, “My grandpa was my best friend and for me to be that for my grandkids is showing that I actually did well and I was able to outlive the circumstances."
"Now I can look back — I can teach those who want to get to this level. Or at least give them a blueprint and help them avoid some of the traps that had to deal with,” he said.
Snoop Dogg, who was born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, has changed his name several times throughout his career. He was also known by the names Snoop Doggy Dogg and briefly Snoop Lion.
