LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Stephen Colbert recently discussed the vice presidential debate, highlighting how Republican candidate JD Vance tried to make Donald Trump seem more appealing to voters.

However, Colbert noted that this task is becoming increasingly difficult as Trump appears to be "pretty worn out" on the campaign trail.

Stephen Colbert mocks Donald Trump's Wisconsin speech

Stephen Colbert played clips from a recent speech Trump gave in Wisconsin, which he described as a "trip to the land of quiet sadness." In the speech, Trump lamented, “Every day we will be filled with opportunity and hope. We don’t have opportunity; we don’t have hope anymore in this country. There’s no hope.”

Colbert humorously likened this sentiment to a motivational poster gone wrong, referencing, “It reminds me of that classic motivational poster: soon this cat will fall and die.”

The awkwardness continued when Trump struggled to remember the names of the event's hosts, prompting Colbert to quip, “He really sounds like a wedding DJ who lost his notes. Alright ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Mr and Mrs Couple!”

Colbert also touched on Trump’s bizarre obsession with water-efficient bathrooms, stating, “You got to see the bathrooms that they project for people. I can’t talk to you about because it’s so gross, but basically water-free bathrooms.”

He humorously added, “Are we sure he didn’t just poop in a coat closet? It’s a very weird bathroom over there; all the urinals have pockets.”

Later in his speech, Trump claimed, “They were like Rambos,” about Afghan soldiers, which Stephen Colbert lampooned, saying, “It sounds crazy, I know, but they actually did make a million Rambos.”

As voting begins in what Colbert humorously termed the “most important election of our lifetimes,” he also drew attention to a lighter topic: the online vote for "Fat Bear Week." He shared updates on various bears competing for the title, noting the drama surrounding one bear that went missing after an attack.

Colbert wrapped up by showcasing his favorite bear, 747, who was recently spotted returning to Brooks Falls, much to his relief.

He expressed, “A mere 11 hours after Coar was deemed missing, a miracle happened because explore.org posted this video of 747 returning to Brooks Falls and struggling to climb a hill.”
