Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding guest claims ceremony won't be held at Madison Square Garden

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: An alleged guest who’s set to attend the much-anticipated wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on July 3 has made a major revelation.

Anthony Jabin, a celeb memorabilia collector, spoke with TMZ’s Harvey Levin and co-host Charles Latibeaudiere on Wednesday, July 1, when he claimed that the Grammy winner and the football star are indeed tying the knot but not at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Jabin, who reportedly met Swift at the 2024 Super Bowl, told the publication that he’s received the invitation to the wedding ceremony as well as the reception — both happening on the same day but not at the same place.

He also declined to comment on the question of whether the wedding will happen in New York City or not.

“I am going... I got an invitation,” he stated, before saying about the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer that “she was at the Super Bowl when I met her. She's really sweet and a great person.”

However, when he was asked to spill some more tea about the wedding and the celebrations, he replied, “Well, I'm not allowed to disclose it, but it's not what everybody thinks. It's a little bit of a surprise going on. They don't want people to really know where it is.”

Jabin’s comment came as New York City Police Department Commissioner Jessica Tisch also refused to confirm Swift and Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden. She, however, noted, “I would be remiss not to mention an event that we are tracking at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.”

“The NYPD will, of course, have a detail in place, but I am not going to go into more specifics on that at this time,” she added.

An earlier report has said that the pop icon and the football tight end’s rehearsal dinner will be held on July 2 at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden.

The report also added that only 100 of the couple’s close ones will be part of the event, unlike their wedding, which is expected to see nearly 1,000 to 2,000 guests. Some apparent famous personalities to attend the wedding are — Zoe Kravitz, Suki Waterhouse, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Ed Sheeran, and Karlie Kloss.

The apparent wedding is happening almost a year after Swift and Kelce got engaged. At the time, the duo had posted multiple pictures on social media, writing, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.”
