Taylor Swift ‘deeply saddened’ by Hayden Panettiere’s death as their connection resurfaces
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Hayden Panettiere's sudden death has left the Hollywood industry in deep shock. Even six days after her death, tributes are still pouring in from those who worked with her, knew her, or even shared the same neighborhood, like Taylor Swift.
According to Page Six, Swift “was really shocked” by Panettiere's death. Although they never shared the screen in movies or music videos, they shared the same complex in Nashville. As neighbours, they shared memories that Panettiere even discussed during a 2012 appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

“Taylor was obviously really shocked when she heard about Hayden’s passing. She was deeply saddened to hear what happened.” However, Swift didn't share anything on her social media. The “Lover” singer has been keeping a low profile since her wedding to NFL player Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden.
Taylor Swift and Hayden Panettiere’s surprising Nashville connection revealed
For those who are unaware, the two celebrities were neighbors, practically sharing the same building. They both lived in the same building while Panettiere was in Tennessee filming ABC's 'Nashville'.
Back in 2009, Swift purchased a penthouse in the same building, while Panettiere moved into the same complex in 2012 following her relocation for the show.
So much so that Panettiere shared an incident on Kimmel's show in which she borrowed a guitar from Swift after finding out that she was left without a guitar before a songwriting session with songwriter Jessi Alexander.
“I freaked out because I didn’t have my guitar. I’d left it in my trailer,” Panettiere said. “I literally texted every one of those girls: ‘Does anybody have a guitar?’ Finally, Taylor Swift came through for me. Two of her security guards brought down this guitar. I had to fill out a form. It was very intense.”
Swift also talked about Panettiere while promoting her album Red in 2012. Swift was asked during an interview if she watched Nashville.
“Well, Hayden is a friend of mine, and she’s my neighbor actually,” she said during an interview. “I remember the first time I ever met her, she came up, and she was like, ‘I just need you to know, my character is not based on you.’ It was so hilarious.”
