Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce donate total $26 million to 20 charities ahead of their weekend wedding

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding celebrations continue to dominate headlines, but the latest reports suggest the couple's big day is about more than lavish festivities and celebrity guests. 

According to reports, the pair has donated $26 million ahead of their highly anticipated wedding, adding a philanthropic touch to one of the year's biggest celebrity events. The reported gesture has shifted attention beyond the ceremony itself, reflecting a different side of the power couple. 

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's reported donation supports food banks, hospitals, and education

According to reports, Swift and Kelce have distributed their hefty $26 million donation among 20 charities across the country, supporting causes focused on food security, children's healthcare, education, and animal welfare. 

The reported beneficiaries include City Harvest, Food Bank For NYC, New York Cares, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Harvesters - The Community Food Network, The Store, Helping Harvest, Rhode Island Community Food Bank, Feeding America, and ASPCA.

Other beneficiaries include Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, Grammy In The Schools, Education Through Music, Answer The Call, Musical Mentors, After-School All-Stars, MSK Kids at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone, and Children's Mercy Hospital. 

While the exact amount received by each charity has not been disclosed, "We are incredibly grateful for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's generous $1 million donation to City Harvest. This donation is a love letter to New York," Chief Executive Officer Jilly Stephens said, noting that the contribution comes at a time when demand for food assistance continues to rise. 

Rhode Island Community Food Bank also revealed it received $1 million, with Chief Executive Officer Melissa Cherney calling it an "extraordinarily generous and unexpected gift."
