According to TMZ, a permit was filed with NYC authorities to close streets around MSG from July 2 through midday July 4 for a July 3 event. As per the publication, the filing is connected to a major gathering planned at the iconic venue.

The report has quickly reignited speculation that the event could be tied to Swift and Kelce's much-discussed upcoming nuptials. Although neither the singer nor the Kansas City Chiefs star has confirmed any wedding plans.

As per reports, multiple Kansas City Chiefs players have reserved hotel rooms near July 3 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. The hotel arrangements, combined with the reported street closure permit, have only intensified curiosity about what may be taking place in New York City in early July.

Reports also claimed that Winick Productions requested event infrastructure for a gathering of up to 999 guests, while a source said Madison Square Garden has reserved the dates for a major event.
