NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: During Monday’s broadcast of ‘America Reports’ on Fox News, Senator Ted Cruz discussed the border standoff between Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the White House.

Cruz slammed President Joe Biden and blamed him for the worsening situation at the southern border.

Following this news, Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report on Cruz bashing the Biden administration.

However, Cruz faced backlash as several people on the internet called out the senator.

Sean Hannity reports on Ted Cruz bashing Biden Admin

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “'DON'T BELIEVE THE LIES!': Cruz Unloads on Biden Admin's Border Narrative [WATCH]. CRUZ: “Biden could solve this situation overnight because he caused it overnight."

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website which stated that Texas Senator Ted Cruz appeared on Fox News on Monday to provide his reaction to the deteriorating situation at the southern border under President Biden's administration.

Cruz asserted, "Biden wants this crisis because he gets a political benefit."

He continued, “We have an open border and that is by design. The White House claims they want more money but the money they want is to process immigrants more quickly…they want to speed this up — they want more illegal immigration.”

Cruz further said, “Biden could solve this situation overnight because he caused it overnight. If you want to solve this problem, Donald Trump, when he’s reelected in January of next year, will solve this problem by doing one thing and one thing alone: when someone is apprehended you put them on a plane, you fly them back home, and the crisis goes away.”

Internet says Ted Cruz is not a ‘reliable source’

Many X users took a brutal jab at Ted Cruz.

One person wrote, “When you have to rely on Ted Cruz for your facts you have a problem,” while another added, “Ted Cruz isn't a very reliable source of information or opinions.  He's just not a very productive or useful senator.”

An X user simply slammed Cruz and wrote, “@tedcruz is lying,” while another said, “Ted’s  just doing what his daddy tells him to, the way he always does.”

One more user called out Cruz and said, “Lying, Insurrectionist, Criminal Ted who has violated his oath to the Constitution? That one?”
