WASHINGTON, DC: Erika Kirk, the widow of conservative leader Charlie Kirk, said the podcast hosted by her late husband will continue.

She appeared on 'The Charlie Kirk Show' on Friday, sitting next to Charlie’s empty chair, to reassure listeners that the program is not ending.

Erika Kirk says Charlie Kirk’s podcast will not end

Erika told the audience, “My husband’s voice will live on. The show will go on,” adding, “This is not going to be a forever thing of me hosting the show.”

“The show will go on. We will have rotating hosts, rotating casts, rotating people coming on,” Erika said during the broadcast.

She added, “It is going to be continually the north star of the conservative movement, of the voice of the youth, of the voice of the base, and that will not end.”

Erika also revealed that Charlie left behind “decades worth” of recorded speeches and content, noting, “We have unused material from speeches that he’s had that no one has heard yet.”

Erika Kirk recalls Charlie Kirk’s early vision for the podcast

Reflecting on the program’s beginnings, Erika said she remembered how her mother recognized Charlie’s talent before the show gained national recognition.

“‘You know what, honey?’ she said, ‘God has blessed you with an amazing voice. And you will be the Rush Limbaugh of your generation,’” Erika recalled her mother telling Charlie in 2020.

She suggested her mother’s words were prophetic. Speaking to executive producer Andrew Kolvet, Erika noted, “And two days later, you and him engaged in conversations about the show and about the podcast.”

“To see The Charlie Kirk Show grow from that moment until now has been so humbling and beautiful. And he loved every single day. He read every email,” Erika said, adding that Charlie saw the podcast crew as “an extended form of family.”

Erika confirmed that her late husband’s social media accounts will remain active, while affiliated groups like Turning Point Action are moving “full steam ahead.”

“We’ve been very intentional in a way that always keeps Charlie first and his dreams alive and his legacy going,” Erika said.

She added that her husband had laid out a vision for the groups through 2030. “We’re not going anywhere. We have the blueprints. We have our marching orders.”

Internet calls Erika Kirk strong as she carries on Charlie Kirk’s vision

Online, many admired Erika for her determination and commended her strength.

“This woman is so strong,” wrote one user on X. Another said, “Her strength is not about being unbreakable. It is about the courage to show up and feel the pain, which is the bravest thing a person can do.”

“Watching Erika Kirk speak next to her husband's empty chair is gut-wrenching. Her courage to face the world after such a loss especially so soon is truly moving. No words can capture the strength she shows right now,” another added.

One wrote, “We will love and support Erika Kirk and her family forever.”

Another commented, “It’s heartbreaking for sure, but it’s a beautiful thing that she’s keeping his legacy alive.”
