WASHINGTON, DC: A new legal filing claims that Joe Biden's ambassador to the UK could be 'protecting' Prince Harry from deportation, as per the New York Post.

Notably, A conservative think tank called The Heritage Foundation is suing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for accessing Prince Harry's visa records so they may investigate if he lied about his past drug usage.

Notably, Harry has acknowledged engaging in drug experimentation, including with cocaine, cannabis, and psychedelic mushrooms. This is information that he would have needed to include on the application papers submitted before his 2020 move to the US.

Immigrants are forewarned by the government that making misleading or inaccurate claims on official documents will result in expulsion. Declaring that Harry's records are in the public interest, the Heritage Foundation requests that they be made public.

In the past, DHS lawyers have stated that publicizing the documents would be 'an unwarranted invasion of Prince Harry's privacy.' However, US Ambassador to the UK Jane Hartley stated to Sky News on March 25 that Harry would not be deported, even if he had made a false statement on his documents.

She said, "It’s not gonna happen in the Biden administration."

However, the Heritage Foundation responded to that comment with a fresh 100-page document in which it accused Hartley of shielding the prince and demanded once more that the visa application be made public.

The filing stated, "Hartley spoke directly not only to the Duke of Sussex’s current immigration status but HRH’s [Harry’s] future immigration status as well."

According to Nile Gardiner, the director of the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at The Heritage Foundation, Hartley's "arrogant remarks on Prince Harry are an extraordinary intervention by a senior US diplomat on an ongoing federal court case."

Gardiner continued, as reported by the Daily Mail, "The Biden Administration has gone to great lengths to protect Prince Harry, and has even ruled out the possible deportation of the Duke of Sussex if he lied on his US immigration application and violated US immigration law."

Internet reacts to these claims

Several people on the internet criticized amid new legal filing claims that Joe Biden's ambassador to the UK could be 'protecting' Prince Harry from deportation.

A user wrote on X, "She must be denied any position she has been nominated!" while one added, "I’m the public. I have no interest. This is ridiculous." A person also said, "UK won’t take the creep back."
