Royal expert Richard Eden said Harry wants to contribute to royal duties, although there's uncertainty about Meghan Markle's enthusiasm for a return to Britain.

"I think it's extremely likely that Harry does want to carry out royal duties," royal expert Richard Eden shared.

"We had the suggestion that he might want to do some to help out while the King and Catherine stepped back, but there's been no sign of that's gonna happen," he added.

"It's definitely something he wants to come back, but do we want it?"

“We certainly haven't heard many reports that Meghan's very keen to come back to Britain."

Eden continued: "So the whole thing is sort of in limbo, but the suggestion's there that he wants to come back to Britain more, and I think we will be seeing more of him one way or another."

There might be too much tension between the Duke and his family to allow that to happen.

"It is a very important anniversary because the service of Thanksgiving is being held, to celebrate 10 years of the Invictus Games and this of course was a remarkable thing that Harry founded," royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams shared with an outlet.

"One of the problems is that it will be overshadowed by whether Meghan will be there, I would think not. And then again as to whether or not he will see his father, will King Charles play a role in peacemaking?" he added.

The prospect of Meghan Markle, along with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Diana, joining Prince Harry on his upcoming trip to London has sparked speculation and mixed reactions. If Meghan were to accompany Harry, it would mark her first visit to Britain since Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral in September 2022, and the first trip back for the Sussex children since the late monarch's Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier that year.

"I simply cannot understand why he wants to come back here after all his treacherous lies with Meghan Markle," a former palace aide spilled.

"One thing is for certain: it won't be a happy homecoming, and if he brings the actress, they can expect more hisses boos, which I heard infuriated her last time."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex encountered public backlash during previous visits to the UK, notably being booed after a Service of Thanksgiving for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have stirred up a wave of criticism following the announcement of two new non-fiction series in collaboration with Netflix under their Archewell Productions banner.

The first series, spearheaded by Meghan Markle herself, is set to celebrate "the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship," according to reports from Deadline. As an executive producer, Meghan aims to showcase her passion for culinary arts and sustainable living, promising viewers an intimate exploration of her love for food and community.

Directed by Michael Steed and with Leah Hariton as the showrunner, viewers can anticipate an engaging dive into Meghan's culinary world.

Meanwhile, the second series promises unparalleled access to the realm of professional polo, a sport deeply cherished by Prince Harry. Assuming the role of executive producer, Prince Harry's passion for polo and involvement in charity matches will be on full display.

Directed by Milos Balac and with a focus on capturing the essence of polo competition, the series aims to unveil the dedication and fervor underlying the sport's glamorous exterior.

Despite the anticipation surrounding these projects, the announcement has faced criticism from various quarters. Critics question the couple's decision to delve deeper into the entertainment industry, especially given their royal background and recent controversies.

Some argue that the move seems disconnected from their previous roles and may further strain their relationship with the British royal family.

Nevertheless, Netflix's Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria confirmed that Meghan and Prince Harry are actively involved in multiple projects, including unscripted shows and scripted series, as part of their collaboration with the streaming platform.
