LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: To caution American voters against false information in the approaching presidential election, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are once again entering the United States political sphere.

According to Axios, their Archewell Foundation and other powerful Hollywood figures are endorsing a campaign aimed at preparing American voters for the potential deluge of artificial intelligence (AI) deepfake news.

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are launching a campaign to protect voters against electoral misinformation through their Archewell Foundation. The campaign will run concurrently with November 5, 2024, the US presidential election.

The campaign has been characterized as a "bipartisan coalition with support from Hollywood power players and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Archewell Foundation".

The Archewell Foundation is reportedly "helping brainstorm new content." The team will be attempting to "prepare US voters for a possible deep fake onslaught during the election year".

Experts anticipate that "malicious state actors and domestic political operatives" will employ deepfake tactics to sway voters, as per the Axios report.

Google, Meta, and OpenAI have pledged to fight deepfake content, and Bob Dylan's son Jesse Dylan has created two advertisements to bring attention to the problem, per The Mirror.

Republicans and other detractors demanded that the Royal Family revoke the couple's titles in the wake of the latest incident, deeming the Duke and Duchess' meddling improper, per Daily Mail.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are participating in a presidential election for the second time. They encouraged Americans to register to vote in the 2020 election and to reject false information.

Meghan teamed up with feminist Gloria Steinem to urge voters in the US during the last election campaign. Gloria stated in an Access Hollywood interview at the time: "She came home to vote."

Moreover, Harry and Meghan made a video for the 2020 election advising people to disregard false information.

Harry called on people to "reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity," while Meghan declared that this election was "the most important election of our lifetime."

The couple also collaborated with Barack Obama's public relations specialist, Miranda Barbot

Internet slams Harry and Meghan's latest career move in US politics

Social media users took to X (formerly Twitter) to criticize the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's latest career move, with one exclaiming, "Another failure waiting to happen."

A second one slammed and said, "As long as she’s getting some media attention, she will be happy, that’s all she craves"

"What is a foreign Prince with a questionable VISA doing wading into American politics? He's not even a citizen," remarked a third one.

A fourth one echoed a similar sentiment and sai, "Harry has NO business getting involved in USA politics, he’s not even a US citizen. This should be a red flag for everyone especially his father!"

One more mad X user noted, "I would be soooo… damn mad if I was an American. I’d be writing to my political representatives and the press. This is so inappropriate. I’m sorry, my American friends."

"Please explain to me why a British prince is even involved with American politics????? This is not acceptable," exclaimed another one.

One more chimed in, "It's another thing they will dial at. Because not for a hot minute will Americans listen to these two."

Another one explained, "He can't be a counselor of state for the UK while interfering with a foreign country's politics. This is troubling, the king must now take action to protect the integrity of the RF, and the UK Harry's involvement could be seen as election interference, from a foreign state."
