Toby Morton launches site urging Barron Trump drafted into war
WASHINGTON, DC: A former writer associated with South Park has stirred controversy after launching a website calling for President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, to be drafted into the US military and sent to a war zone.
Toby Morton, 50, who says he runs multiple parody and “anti-fascist” websites, recently unveiled DraftBarronTrump.com as Trump continues military action in Iran. The site targets 19-year-old Barron, who is currently a college sophomore.

The homepage of Morton’s website opens with exaggerated praise directed at the president and his son.
“America is strong because its leaders are strong. President Trump proves that every day. Naturally, his son Barron is more than ready to defend the country his father so boldly commands. Service is honor. Strength is inherited,” the site reads. It continues with the phrase, “Dog Bless Barron.”
The page goes on to frame itself as a tribute to what it calls strength and bravery in wartime.
“This site is dedicated to honoring the strongest and bravest voices in war. When power is projected abroad, it is only right that strength exists at home. If you’re looking for proven genes, inherited courage, and unquestionable resolve, look no further than the Trump family. Leadership starts somewhere.”
Fake quotes from Don Jr and Eric Trump raise eyebrows
Morton’s website also includes fabricated quotes attributed to Barron’s older brothers, Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump.
In one mock quote, Donald Trump Jr. is made to say, “This moment is really about Barron, okay? Always has been. He represents strength, courage, and service. I’ll be honoring that sacrifice in my own way, mainly by talking about it from a safe distance.” Another fake quote portrays Eric Trump delivering a rambling statement about pancakes, making him appear disconnected and confused.
In yet another section, the site features Donald Trump claiming that people approach him “with tears in their eyes” asking him to send Barron into a war zone. Morton also attempted to push a viral campaign using the hashtag “#SendBarron.”
Toby Morton’s history of parody websites and domain stunts
Morton has previously drawn attention for purchasing web domains tied to political names. Last year, he made headlines after buying trumpkennedycenter.org and trumpkennedycenter.com. He describes himself as someone who creates parody and anti-fascist websites. There is no indication that Morton has served in the military.
The latest site, however, centers on Barron, who is currently studying at NYU’s Stern School of Business at its Washington, DC, campus.
Barron Trump is 19 years old and stands 6 foot 9 inches tall. That height is one inch above the US Army’s maximum standard of 6 foot 8 inches. Individuals taller than 6 foot 8 inches are generally disqualified because they may not comfortably fit in military vehicles, aircraft and other equipment.
While the website presents itself as satire, the idea of drafting a sitting president’s teenage son has fueled online debate.
