The Democratic National Convention held in Chicago to formally nominate Vice President Kamala Harris as the presidential nominee and her running mate, Minnesota Gov Tim Walz, as the vice presidential nominee was noticed not only for the fiery political messages but also for its glitzy fashion moments. Prominent Democrats, including Harris, Michelle Obama, and Jill Biden, appeared at the DNC ground wearing high-end brands. Here are some of the best fashion moments the political stage witnessed since the event kicked off on August 19.

1. Kamala Harris

For the first night of the DNC, Vice President Kamala Harris opted for a two-piece tan suit from Chloe. The stunning attire had a tailored double-breasted jacket and slightly oversized pants, as per Variety. Made from wool grain de poudre, it had gold-toned decorations.

2. Michelle Obama

On the second night of the DNC, Michelle Obama graced the stage with her husband, former President Barack Obama. For the occasion, the former first lady went for a short-sleeved navy blue pantsuit from the New York City-based luxury brand Monse.

First Lady Jill Biden turned all glitzy on the first night at the United Center in Chicago. She shimmered in a custom Ralph Lauren sequined dress while greeting the crowd. Jill accessorized the blue long-sleeved dress, reaching just above her knees, with pointed-toe pumps and glittering earrings.

Hillary Clinton went monochromatic as she appeared on the first night of the DNC to endorse Vice President Harris. She chose a tweed jacket in cream color with fringe detailing at the cuffs and hem along with similar colored tailored trousers. Clinton polished up the look with neutral-toned kitten heels and gold jewelry.

Oprah Winfrey turned the DNC stage purple on the third night in her Christian Siriano attire. The monochromatic suit consisted of a peplum-style jacket and wide-leg trousers. Oprah completed the look with purple earrings and pointed heels.

Mindy Kaling spoke to the DNC crowd on its third night. The actress, who shares an Indian heritage with Vice President Harris, opted for a navy blue sheath dress by Monique Lhuillier. The dress, which reached below her knees, incorporated tulip lace details, scalloped edges, and a scoop neckline.

Ashley Biden, who introduced her father, President Joe Biden, to the DNC crowd, opted for a white Gabriela Hearst ensemble for the opening night. Ella Emhoff, the daughter of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris, is a professional fashion designer. She showed up in an exquisite Thom Browne plaid suit for the second day of the DNC to cheer on her father as he took the stage. The checkered suit had Thom Browne's signature armbands and padded shoulders. Ella wore a white button-down shirt and a navy tie to complete the outfit.
