LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Donald Trump's new $400 sneakers, which some speculate could be manufactured in China, are making headlines.

The shoes, officially named the "Never Surrender" high-top sneakers, are seen by some as a possible response to the numerous legal judgments against the former president.

Despite the official name, critics and observers have been quick to suggest alternative names.

Donald Trump's gold high-top sneakers spark naming attempts on social media

Rick Wilson, a conservative critic of the former president, was among the first to initiate the trend of suggesting alternative names, according to Raw Story.

"What do you even call these?" he questioned, suggesting three possible new names: "The Adjudicated Rapists," "The Herpetic Clodhoppers" and "The Suckers Born Every Minutes."

In a seperate post, Grant Stern penned, "Name the brand of fake gold on these 10 cent sneakers for MAGA suckers."

This prompted Michael Cohen, former lawyer and "fixer" for Trump, to suggest the name "The Hair Felons."

Internet users float new names for Trump's golden shoes

Numerous users joined the discussion following Wilson's post.

"CONVICT™ All Stars," said one person.

Another person suggested, "The Tread on Thees."

"The “Made in China’s,”" wrote another.

A person opined, "I think the “T” is for “tacky.” I could cover an old pair of converse in gold spray paint, and they’d look better than these."

Another remarked, "If you buy enough of them, you’ll be is bankrupt as Trump himself, and deserve it!"

"If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face – for ever.’ Orwell wrote that in “1984.” Looks like the boot turned out to be a shitty-ass gilded sneaker," noted another.

Someone else trolled, "I came across this. If interested, I can let you have them for 50 bucks a pair."

Another person stated, "Traitor Trumper Jumpers."

"Never Surrender." noted another. "Sold out! How about that," joked one person.

A person suggested, "Air Insurrection."
