WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump praised Kid Rock after the singer’s first Christian song, 'You Can’t Kill Rock,' reached No. 1. The president also commended Kid Rock’s performance of the track at the Turning Point USA (TPUSA) concert on February 8, calling it a “Big Week” and adding, “MAGA all the way.”
This marks Kid Rock’s first appearance on the Billboard charts. Billboard shared the achievement on Instagram, but the singer has not yet publicly responded to Trump’s praise.

On Wednesday, February 18, Trump shared a Billboard link on Truth Social and celebrated Kid Rock’s success, writing, “Congratulations to Kid Rock! Number One, and also, great Super Bowl ratings. A BIG WEEK. MAGA all the way!!! President DJT.”
Kid Rock’s cover of Cody Johnson’s 2022 song ’'Til You Can’t' reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart. It also debuted at No 9 on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, No 14 on Hot Country Songs, and No 69 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The TPUSA program included country artists Brantley Gilbert, Gabby Barrett, and Lee Brice. The show opened with a guitar solo of the 'Star-Spangled Banner,' followed by Gilbert performing 'Real American' and 'Dirt Road Anthem.' Kid Rock closed the lineup with his 1999 hit 'Bawitdaba' and finished with his cover of '’Til You Can’t.'
