WASHINGTON, DC: A high profile dinner is scheduled at Mar-a-Lago for those who purchase former president Donald Trump's 47 "Mugshot Edition" NFTs, which are priced at $99 each, according to OK Magazine.

Among the NFT images are his well-known mugshot, a superhero-style image of Trump holding lightning in his hands, and a photo of the divisive politician wearing a cowboy hat. Little fragments of the suit and tie he wore during his arrest the previous year are also anticipated to be included with the cards.

Prior to the main event, clients who purchase NFTs for at least $10,000 will be invited to a VIP cocktail reception.

Notably, despite Trump's complaints that his current hush money prosecution prevents him from hitting the campaign road, a news site reported that Trump's NFT business is not a part of his campaign for the 2024 election.

Trump told reporters on Tuesday, April 30, outside of the courtroom, "I'm going to go into the icebox now and sit for about eight hours or nine hours. I would much rather be in Georgia and Florida. I much rather be in states that are in play."

In May, Trump told a group of supporters in Michigan that he must do several speeches every day as he is "in New York all the time with the Biden trial."

Judge Juan Merchan scheduled Trump's criminal trial to begin on April 15, which would make it the first criminal prosecution of a former American president. Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records last year, which prosecutors say was an effort to hide a potential sex scandal, both before and after the 2016 election.
