WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump’s love for himself was on full display on Saturday, May 18, when he shared a surreal video of an AI-generated version of himself performing Journey’s chartbuster hit “Don’t Stop Believing".

The clip, shared on Truth Social, shows the 78-year-old president playing the famous opening strains of the song on piano before rocking out on an electric guitar in a rock style shirt, according to Daily Beast.

This is not Trump's first brush with Journey’s iconic hit.

The song was first played for the president at Mar-a-Lago by the band's keyboard player in 2022, which resulted in Jonathan Cain getting a cease-and-desist order from former bandmate Neal Schon who called the performance a “harmful use of the brand".

The business mogul then transitions to a more patriotic yet rock style outfit, featuring white pants paired with a blue, red, and white silky top, exposing his chest.

Trump appeared to wave his white hair from side to side as he took a moment to shred a guitar solo. The creator of the video placed dancing cheerleaders in tiny two-piece costumes on stage behind the president.

The clip ended on a more banging note as it showed Trump rocking out on the drums, where he also showed off a bit of his chest hair as he looked off into the large roaring audience.

Internet abuzz over Trump’s AI clip of rocking to 'Don't Stop Believing'

The Internet has been going absolutely wild over Donald Trump’s new rocking AI clip, with one user saying, “Is he going on a worldwide tour after his term is over?”

“And the 25th amendment is impossible,” a second user joked while the third user said, “Someone is losing his mind.”

“These are the only low IQ idiots that AI is cool for, these are the same morons that are preaching it's the future,” the fourth user chipped in. Meanwhile, the fifth user wrote, “Reason 4829857837384845 to hate this song.”

“He can’t play a single musical instrument, and it’s not even convincing in AI. I don’t think he’s even drummed on documents with pencils. Beyond this, do your duty, Journey, and send out a cease & desist. Good luck having it obeyed," the sixth user said.

“Is this about as authentic as his promises in 2016 of a “big beautiful wall” and during his 2024 campaign of “mass deportations?” one more user commented.

Trump shares AI image of himself as Pope

This is not the first time that Donald Trump has gained public attention with an AI-generated post. Earlier this month, the president caused an uproar by sharing an AI image portraying him as the pope, just days after the death of Pope Francis.

The image, which was later shared by the White House, showed Trump seated in an ornate chair, dressed in white papal vestments and headdress, with a finger raised.

The post came just before international cardinals are scheduled to convene in Vatican City to choose Pope Francis' successor as the leader of the Catholic Church.

Before the bizarre pope post, Trump shared another AI-created video of him sipping cocktails with a topless Benjamin Netanyahu in Gaza, in a future imagining of the Palestinian territory devastated by Israel’s war.
