WASHINGTON, DC: White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Thursday, August 7, that President Donald Trump delivered on "every single major campaign promise" as he completed his 200th day in office.

The Republican leader's second 100 days in office have been a rollercoaster ride, marked by controversy amid the Jeffrey Epstein "cover-up" saga, a dramatic public falling out with tech billionaire Elon Musk, and economic uncertainty stemming from the massive tariffs.

Karoline Leavitt says Donald Trump 'kept his word' to American voters

Talking to the Daily Mail, Karoline Leavitt said that the secret to Donald Trump's success was that he "actually kept his word" to American voters and "delivered on every single major campaign promise" from his presidential campaign.

Even though Trump's approval rating has dived from where he started after his swearing-in due to worries over the economy and the Epstein drama, Leavitt insists that he has landed many of his top legislative priorities.

The POTUS signed his signature "big, beautiful bill" into law on Independence Day, extending his 2017 tax cuts as well as cutting taxes on tips, overtime pay, and social security.

The law also enacted work requirements for Medicare coverage, expanded funding for border security, the US Customs and Border Protection, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

A popular provision also included $1,000 MAGA baby accounts that will help Americans start investing in their children's futures.

The White House press secretary listed off other promises she says that the MAGA leader has delivered on, including "securing the border to defeating Biden's inflation crisis."

She concluded, "Thanks to President Trump's relentless efforts and record-breaking achievements, the Golden Age of America is officially upon us."

Donald Trump's 200 days as POTUS

The initial 100-day milestone is usually marked as the most important phase of a president's leadership, as it shows how soon he will secure his political agenda.

However, Trump's second 100 days were also extremely packed, consisting of positive and negative news.

The POTUS wrangled Republican members of Congress who used a slim majority to pass his signature spending bill.

Trump also launched one of the biggest and most successful air strikes in modern history on several Iranian nuclear sites in June, named "Operation Midnight Hammer." 

The airstrike consisted of 125 aircraft, including seven B-2 stealth bombers, some of them tasked with hitting the three different nuclear sites. 

Moreover, 75 "precision-guided weapons" were dropped on Iranian targets, and 14 GBU-57 Massive Ordinance Penetrators (MOPs) were dropped to destroy the facilities.

Trump declared that the sites were "completely obliterated" after the bombings were done.

Meanwhile, the commander-in-chief still has work to do on foreign policy, as he promised to end the war in Ukraine and the Israel-Hamas conflict, which are both still ongoing. 

A Trump administration official informed the Daily Mail that his immigration policies entered high gear during 100-200 days.

Moreover, there was a new record low in illegal crossings at the border, where only 4,399 apprehensions took place in July, with zero releases into the US.
