WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump spoke highly of Bret Baier's handling of the Kamala Harris interview on Wednesday, October 16, as per The Daily Beast.

During her first interview with the conservative network Fox News, the vice president sparred with Baier on various topics, including immigration, transgender rights, and her 2019 policy stances.

Harris and Baier frequently talked over each other, and the Democratic nominee at one point snapped at the journalist, saying, "May I finish responding to you?"

Trump's campaign jumped to brand the interview a disaster.

Advisor Steven Cheung mocked Harris' responses on X (formerly Twitter), writing, "Episode IV: Team Biden Strikes Back. Team Obama s**t the bed and now Team Biden feels emboldened after this trainwreck of an interview by Kamala."

Donald Trump takes a dig at Kamala Harris' cognitive ability as he praises Bret Baier

While Donald Trump has been lately critical of the network, he praised host Bret Baier over social media on Wednesday night, stating, "Great job by Bret Baier in his Interview with Lyin’ Kamala Harris."

He added, "She has a massive and irredeemable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME - So bad, in fact, that she is barely able to talk about any subject other than the man who had the best economy ever, the strongest border in history, and who just got the UNANIMOUS ENDORSEMENT OF THE U.S. Border Patrol, ME!"

Trump went on to call Harris the worst vice president in history as usual, before focusing his attention back on Baier.

"Again, congratulations to Bret Baier on a tough but very fair interview, one that clearly showed how totally incompetent Kamala is," said the GOP nominee, adding, "For the good of our Nation, her inferior Cognitive ability must be tested at once!"

Donald Trump's tweet riles up the Internet

Netizens reacting to Donald Trump's post on X were divided in their take on Kamala Harris' Fox News interview.

One wrote, "Babe wake up we got a classic Trump tweet banger," and another said, "Shocked how well Bret Baier did. Actually mildly impressed."

"She MELTED DOWN and it was hilarious," claimed a person, while someone else expressed,  "It was an ambush interview, yet she matched his energy and didn’t take the bait. She went into the lion's den, took them on, and stood tall. Trump would never have the guts to go on MSNBC. You’re even too chicken to go on @60 Minutes or debate her again."

"She was unhinged! What a disaster!" declared another person, while one more wrote, "You’re the one who’s deranged, bro."
