Donald Trump to 'work the fry cooker' at McDonald’s, Internet accuses him of 'copying' Kamala Harris
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's campaign revealed that the former president will "work the fry cooker" at McDonald’s this coming weekend, reported The Mirror US.
The 2024 GOP presidential nominee will work as a fryer during a planned campaign stop in Philadelphia on Sunday, October 20, according to the campaign. The Republican candidate continued to mock Vice President Kamala Harris' past employment at McDonalds during her college years.
Donald Trump to 'work the fry cooker' at McDonald’s
Donald Trump told a crowd of supporters in Nevada on October 10, "Do you know what I am doing next week? I am going to a McDonald's to work! I think I’m going to a McDonald’s in two weeks actually and I’m gonna work the french fries because I will have worked longer and harder at McDonald’s than she did if I do that even for a half-hour."
Harris reverted to Trump's statement during an interview with MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle and said, "Part of the reason I even talk about having worked at McDonald’s is because there are people who work at McDonald’s in our country who are trying to raise a family. I worked there as a student."
Moreover, Trump has often said on the campaign trail that Harris is lying about her past work experience at McDonald's. He said at a rally in Indiana in September, "But she said she worked and grew up in terrible conditions, she worked at McDonald’s, it was such—SHE NEVER WORKED THERE!"
Meanwhile, Harris has repeatedly said over the years that she worked for the faster food joint while getting her undergraduate degree in the 1980s, including in a campaign ad released in August and in an interview with MSNBC in September, according to the New York Post.

The entire GOP operation also spent $200,000 on Chick-fil-A, roughly 20 times more than Democrats, apart from Big Macs and McFlurries. as per the outlet's analysis. Meanwhile, Democrats outspent the GOP by about $80,000 by getting their meals delivered on apps like Uber Eats and DoorDash.
