HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA: Donald Trump is set to work at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania this weekend.

"A friend of mine owns a McDonald's someplace," Trump said on Friday, October 18, on ‘Fox and Friends’ episode.

Donald Trump says he'll be actively working at McDonald's

When Donald Trump was asked about the kind of role he’ll be taking at the fast-foodchain, the Republican leader said, "Oh, I'm going. I'm going to do everything," adding "I want to work as a fry cook to see how it is."

Trump also attacked Kamala Harris for claiming that she worked as a student at one of the outlets of the popular restaurant.

"I'm going because she lied,” he remarked.

"I think I’m going to a McDonald’s in two weeks actually and I’m gonna work the french fries because I will have worked longer and harder at McDonald’s than she did if I do that even for a half-hour," the former president further said.

Co-host Brian Kilmeade then asked Trump, "You don't think she ever worked in McDonald's?" to which the former president responded, "I know she didn't. We checked it out. They said she never worked here."

In a recent interview, Harris reiterated, "I have" [worked at McDonald's]. "Part of the reason I even talk about having worked at McDonald's is because there are people who work at McDonald's in our country who are trying to raise a family. I worked there as a student,” she said, according to the outlet.

Internet excited to see Donald Trump working at McDonald's

Netizens shared their enthusiasm as they reacted on Donald Trump's claim of visiting McDonald's and working at one their outlets this weekend.

One person shared on X, "This man is going to be the only candidate to ever work at McDonald’s in this election cycle lol."

"I bet the ice cream machine will be down, though," a user joked.

"Any meal would be a happy meal seeing this guy hand it to you, for the lols if nothing else!" an individual said.

"The person who will give their order to President Trump will be the luckiest American on earth!" another person chimed.

"I don’t care who you are. If you don’t think this is hilarious and you don’t just appreciate Trump that much more for this than you really need therapy," one said.

A user appreciated Trump saying, "It’s so awesome Trump will work the McDonalds fry machine! He’s a true leader and man of the people!"

"Almost everything is possible in politics. If Trump is going there then it is a very good thing because there is a lot of difference between speaking and doing, which Trump understands very well and he is going to do the same," an individual opined.
